Popular Tamil singer and composer Anirudh Ravichander has announced the postponement of his Chennai concert, originally scheduled for July 26 at Thiruvidanthai, following an overwhelming demand for tickets that exceeded the venue’s capacity.

The 34-year-old artist took to Instagram to share the update with his fans—affectionately called the “Hukum Family”—stating that the current venue could not accommodate the massive response from the audience. Anirudh assured fans that his team is working on arranging a larger venue to deliver a more comfortable and energetic experience.

“Due to the incredible love and overwhelming demand, the Hukum Chennai concert scheduled for July 26 is being postponed,” he wrote. “We’re working on bringing you a bigger venue and a better experience with smoother entry, more space, and a whole lot more energy.”

He further expressed gratitude for the continued support and confirmed that all ticket holders will receive a full refund within 7–10 working days via District by Zomato.

The Chennai concert was meant to be the grand finale of Anirudh’s Hukum World Tour 2024, which began in Dubai in February last year. With fans eagerly awaiting his return to the stage in his hometown, Anirudh promised the show would be back soon—“bigger, better, and louder.”
